Thank you!!

A huge thank you to Blake Williams and all the wonderful musicians who trekked through a major snowstorm on December 18 to support the annual An Irish Christmas fundraiser for the Irish Benevolent Society of BC. They have a regular session at the Wolf & Hound every Sunday night. These are the players:

  • Jenny on concertina

  • Peter on fiddle

  • Michael on fiddle

  • Craig on guitar

  • Blake on bodhran

  • Catherine on fiddle

  • Mary on fiddle

  • Hugh on uillean  pipes

  • John on uillean  pipes

  • Kate on banjo (not captured by picture)

Special mention also to storyteller Philomena Jordan who delighted the audience with her lovely Christmas tale.

And finally: To Brian and his team at The Wolf & Hound. They collected .25 cents on every pint of Guinness and presented us with a huge donation that evening. If you're in Vancouver, stop by and say hello at 3617 West Broadway (at Alma) in Vancouver.
